Just a quick post to remind everyone that the art city of
Lucca in Tuscany, Italy is one of the most enjoyable and interesting cities to visit in
Tuscany. Lucca holds its place among the Tuscan art cities along with Florence, Sienna and Pisa, but shares top spot with or perhaps is even superior to Sienna in terms of ambiance. Lucca is flat, has almost no motorised traffic and above all has enormously wide and intact walls which are ideal for strolling or bicycling. And of course Lucca is packed with beautiful art and architecture, as well as good eating and good shopping.
